Hello

Hi there, I figured I'd introduce myself. I'm from Marysville, MI and I've been doing "bushcraft" of some sort or another for over 20 years now. For the last year or so I have been focusing on plant ID, wild edibles, and primitive skills... I've learned a lot but mostly I've learned that there's always much, much more to learn.

At any rate I look forward to meeting everybody both here on the forums and at future events.

wow, you live close man.....we should hook up and do some bushcrafty stuff sometime bro. ill be collecting some bow staves and atlatl blanks for classes very soon....

I started my first atlatl in December... so far I have a phragmites dart that I've fletched (poorly) with turkey feathers. I've just been real lazy about doing the easy parts: making the atlatl and the field point for the dart

I think we haunt the same woods based on the video that was posted of the last outing in the PHSGA. Give me a PM and we'll get together!

i have some real tennesee rivercane for darts here if you want to make darts from them and attach fore shafts and feathers to them..yes ill let you know about getting together..possibly next weekend....if you get a chance to swing up to the hock shop you will see some of our flyers in there after this weekend if you want to pic some up and pass out to friends or keep for your self.
