Carbine Course Empty Carbine Course

Four Square Sportsman's Assoc
$60 / participant for rifle instruction, range fees and camp fees.
If rainy or has been in the last few days, the range is VERY muddy, bring extra footwear and clothes to change into afterward. NO SHOWERS AVAILABLE, but there is a hose...

Friday night Camping available after 6 PM.
Saturday camping available on-site. Leave by noon Sunday.
No shooting Sunday.
Limited bathroom facilities, water available at clubhouse.
Targets will be provided. Barriers

Carbine Class will begin on Saturday 9 AM sharp.
We will cover
operation of modern rifles, safety and muzzle control.
firearm cleaning
common malfunctions and field expedient fixes
tactical magazine changes
rapid target acquisition
active shooter scenarios
team shoot and cover
transition to sidearm
shoot and move techniques
Each shooter should have 250 rds of ammo for their rifle for this course of fire. (bolt actions will use less ammo)
Any rifle will work for this course though it will focus on the carbine semi-auto.

This is going to be a great class, but safety is a priority. If there is something that someone isnt comfortable with preforming we will try our best to accommodate them. Also if there are any questions feel free to ask.
